FAQ: How are my pet’s images and results shared with my regular vet?

FAQ

At Sage Veterinary Imaging, your pet’s results are designed to move quickly and securely between every member of their care team.

Sharing with your veterinarian

As soon as imaging is complete, our radiologists begin reviewing the scans. Once findings are ready, your veterinarian receives a detailed written report, usually within 24 hours — or faster for urgent cases. They’ll use this information to guide next steps, discuss treatment options, or refer you to a specialist if needed.

Sharing with other doctors or hospitals

If your pet is seeing a specialist, surgeon, or emergency hospital, we can share images the same day through our secure digital platform. Just have your veterinarian send us the request — we’ll make sure the right team has instant access to your pet’s scans.

Clear communication, better care

Our goal is to keep everyone on the same page — you, your veterinarian, and any other specialists — so your pet’s care feels seamless, connected, and informed from start to finish.
